Organization

The aim of the course is to make the Students acquainted with the basic concepts of economics and establish their interest in this field. The course will be divided into three main sections:

  1. Microeconomics;
  2. Macroeconomics;
  3. Review of selected research domains of economics.

By the end of the course Students will be asked to give a presentation, in which they are expected to use the knowledge they acquired in the proceeding weeks. Details concerning the presentation and its topic will be communicated during the course.

PRESENCE

The presence is obligatory, Students may be absent (without a reason) maximum 2 times.

GRADING

• Presentation (class 14) – 30%
• Exam – 70%
• Extra points for the activity during the class
