Dear All,

Due to me being sick (still/again?) I have to cancel tomorrow classes. I apologize and hope this is the last time this semester. We will have a help session and a lecture next week and will catch up with the material as we go along.

Dear All,

This is to let you know that I will be organizing a last chance exam for those of you who has exhausted all attempts of passing my part of the Advanced Microeconomics exams. Here are the details:

– the exam will take place on 9th of June at 8:00 AM in ROOM B.

– it will cover THE WHOLE MATERIAL (both midterm and final)

– it will be composed of four problems (two from midterm and two from final)

– the MAXIMUM one can get from this exam is 3. The passing threshold is 50%.

This will be the LAST AND ONLY chance to retake advanced micro.

Those of you that want to RETAKE a midterm OR FINAL ALONE  and HAVE A JUSTIFIED REASON (eg. doctor note) for absence in any of the partial exams before, please contact me BEFORE 31.05.2015 .

If you do not have a good reason why I should allow you to take a midterm or final exam, please do not make such requests as I reserve the right not to answer your email.

The final exam retake will take place on 4th of March at 18:30 in room 104.

Are posted here. You also have your first midterm result for comparison. I believe that a considerable number of people have improved their grades.

Due to an unexpected emergency, I will not be able to be present during your midterm exam on Wed 21 at 9.45 and I will not be able to hold the office hours on that day. However:

1. The retake midterm exam is taking place as planned at 9:45. There will be a substitute professor, Mr. Lucas van der Velde.

2. I will be available during my regular office hours on Monday the 19th of January in room 409 between 3 and 4 pm.

3. I will have extra office hours on Tuesday the 20th of January in room 409 between 5-6pm.

In each of 2) and 3) – if you want to meet me, PLEASE EMAIL ME ON THE PRECEEDING DAY. No prior demand for office hours will result in no supply.

Below you will find the final group allocation. Since just one group has signed up for the Wed 21 slot, I decided to move this group to Wed 14 and remove the Wed 21 slot.

Here is what will happen:

1. There are some free slots on Fri 9 – if you have not signed up, you can come at that time but NOT  on Wed 14.

2.  Tomorrow (friday 9.01.2014) the class is taking place at 8:00 AM in room J. Next Wed it going to be in room H.

3. On Wed 21 during class time (9.45) we will have the midterm retake.

4. I will hold extra office hour since 8:15 AM on Wed 21 to answer questions you may have on the material for the final exam.
