Dear Students,

I am sorry for my absence during the week before Christmas. Below you will find some information on the events in the upcoming weeks.

1. The midterm exam retake is going to take place on Wednesday, 16th of January. Room is to be announced as soon as I get some information from the Deans office.

2. On 9th of January we meet at 8:00 and will have a double lecture until 11:20.

3. On 16th of January we meet at 8:00 and will have a help session/lecture. We might schedule another help session at some other time, if you think you need one.

4. On 23th of January we will discuss the applied general equilibrium modelling. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we will not be able to have a proper computer lab, so I will basically show you how these models work and go through some examples. You can bring your computer if you want to follow the examples in class. However, this lab will not be graded, so it is just for your own interest. I will bring some cord extenders in case batteries wont last. Therefore it will be only the exams grade that will count toward the class grade.

5. If you are interested in applied modelling, I suggest that you sign up for a class called Applied Microeconomics – General Equilibrium Modelling, that I will hold in the spring semester.

Sincerely

Jan Hagemejer
