Evaluation from the course Microeconomics II

  • The final grade (overall score) from the course is calculated on the basis of the formula:

    + 0.3 · [0.25 · (your grade from a tutorial class) – 0.25].
  • In order to pass the course, you need to obtain (i) at least 50% of points from the exam AND (ii) at least 50% of the overall score (calculated from the formula above).
  • The exam contains single choice questions, i.e., each with one correct answer (about 30 questions).
  • The exam from the course is in a written form and takes place within the examination session of the Faculty.
  • You must pass the tutorial class in order to be admitted to write the exam.

  • The final test (pol. "kolokwium") is in a written form and it consists of 5 open tasks to solve.
  • Each instructor of the tutorial classes determines how the 30 percentage points for the class activities can be obtained (e.g., entry short tests, homeworks) and announces that in class at the beginning of the term.
  • In order to pass the tutorial class, you need to get (i) at least 50% in the final test AND (ii) at least 50% of all points possible to get.
  • The final test retake is held after the first term of the exam and before the second term of the exam.
  • If you do not pass the final test in the first term, you are not allowed to write the exam in the first term. The same applies to the second term.
  • Grades from previous years cannot be transferred.
